You can register early, or the day off. Registration paperwork and waivers are at Scuba-Now (5725 Oleander Dr. A3 Wilmington, NC 28403) or you can always email Dane Young at cclionfishderby@yahoo.com
How It Works
Working with Teams
There are four divers per boat, one boat is one team. You can go this way, or you can do a single diver entry. The more Lionfish you bring back, the better!
Prize Categories
Prizes will go as follows:
1st place: The most physical Lionfish
2nd place: The largest Lionfish
3rd place: The heaviest Lionfish
4th place: The smallest Lionfish

Event Location
The event will be held at Dockside, as well as the captains meeting. The Captains meeting will be from 5-9PM, the event will be from 5AM-6PM
What To Expect
There will be a MANDATORY captains meeting where registraion, and an educational seminar will be shown, along with itenerary for the event.

What You Will Find
Football sized Lionfish that are begging to be caught. The further out you go, the better off you will be!
Where To Go
Lionfish are everywhere, but they are mainly concentrated out towards Ed's Lobster Wreck, The City of Houston, and futher out in the blue water.
